Business Consultant
The Business Consultant candidate is a self-starter and a strong communicator. Entering at a junior or
intermediate level, the successful candidate will have experience in Retail Banking and be able to co-ordinate between clients,
developers and implementation teams. Experience in pre-authorized transactions and in QA, are assets for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting a Treasury System
- Supporting a Retail Banking System
- Supporting a Pre-Authorized transaction system
- Estimating work effort
- Recording and tracking work
- Designing and performing Software Quality Assurance
- Analyzing business requirements
- Writing client communications
- Writing functional specifications
Requirements/Qualifications
- Should have 3 - 5 years related working experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent applicable IT experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, specializing in Retail Banking.
- Knowledge of systems analysis, design, testing practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with multi-platform environment such as Windows, UNIX
- Comfortable working in a software environment supporting multiple banking platforms
