Business Consultant

The Business Consultant candidate is a self-starter and a strong communicator. Entering at a junior or intermediate level, the successful candidate will have experience in Retail Banking and be able to co-ordinate between clients, developers and implementation teams. Experience in pre-authorized transactions and in QA, are assets for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting a Treasury System
• Supporting a Retail Banking System
• Supporting a Pre-Authorized transaction system
• Estimating work effort
• Recording and tracking work
• Designing and performing Software Quality Assurance
• Analyzing business requirements
• Writing client communications
• Writing functional specifications

Requirements/Qualifications

• Should have 3 - 5 years related working experience in the Financial Services Industry
• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent applicable IT experience
• Strong working knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, specializing in Retail Banking.
• Knowledge of systems analysis, design, testing practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with multi-platform environment such as Windows, UNIX
• Comfortable working in a software environment supporting multiple banking platforms
