Implementation Assistance

SIT regularly provides implementation assistance to customers who are installing or deploying new products like Deposit Insurance Guardian for Portfolio Plus into test or production environments. Please book this assistance as far in advance as possible.

Pre-Attestation Assistance

CDIC is allowing institutions to submit data to the CDIC, on a scheduled basis prior to the June 2012 deadline to ensure compliance. This is referred to as Pre-Attestation or Data Example Processing. Once the CDIC receives your data they will provide feedback on quality. SIT can help you with this process.

Prospector Functionality

If you have Portfolio Plus Prospector, you can gain access to the CDIC data once you have licensed and installed the Prospector Deposit Insurance Guardian update. Talk to your Relationship Manager if you’d like to license this update.

Deposit Insurance Guardian for Portfolio Plus was created to address the requirements outlined by the CDIC for the Fast Insurance Determination (FID) process that was launched by the Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation in 2009 as a means of taking swift action should any single financial institution fail. In order for FID to work properly, the CDIC has outlined strict data guidelines that financial institutions must be able to accommodate.
