SIT Announces Additional Loan Partner Functionality

Toronto, Canada – April 30, 2008: Strategic Information Technology Limited (“SIT”) is pleased to announce that it will be adding enhanced loan partner functionality within Portfolio Plus.

“Our business partners told us that they wanted more flexibility in the way loans were syndicated and how pari passu loan partners were serviced,” said G. Robert Leeming, President of SIT. “After careful analysis, and consultation with partners who regularly communicate their needs to us, we embarked on an approach that leverages the strength of our investment system. As such, in future releases, our business partners will be able to offer their customers more options and flexibility.”

These enhancements will be available to existing customers who are using pari pasu loan partners today (within Portfolio Plus 2008) and all future versions of Portfolio Plus. Using this approach, business partners will be able to offer a myriad of registered and unregistered investment account options including interest accounts, term deposits, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. The regulatory capabilities are also enriched because the system will produce T5’s, NR4’s and government XML uploads, as required.
