Sonic Software has been a partner of SIT since 2000, when enterprise level Java Messaging Service (JMS) was first added to the Portfolio Plus banking software solution (through our Universal Gateway product). The Sonic Software product line is one of the components used by SIT to create reliable interfaces to third party and legacy systems. This allows Portfolio Plus to work with investments, loans, mortgages, and retail accounts that may not reside within the Portfolio Plus application itself. It is particularly useful for larger organizations that have existing systems that can’t be displaced when Portfolio Plus is installed.

SonicMQ (and therefore Portfolio Plus) can communicate with the following message middleware:

• TIBCO Rendezvous
• WebSphere MQ (formerly MQ Series)
• SonicMQ Bridge for JMS

SonicMQ is supported on the following platforms:
