TelPay Interface

TelPay is an electronic fund transfer vendor. If you're old enough to remember, it used to be that people would take their bills into their bank branch to pay. TelPay was the first vendor in Canada to offer electronic bill payment in Canada. Today, TelPay moves over $6.5 Billion dollars in funds annually and serves over 250 financial institutions.

TelPay History

Telpay was founded as a division of Comcheq Payroll Services in 1985 and is located in Winnipeg, MB.

TelPay and Portfolio Plus

TelPay does not sell software, per se. They provide a service. SIT sells software that interfaces to TelPay for electronic payments. This TelPay interface uses a combination of the Portfolio Plus Universal Gateway and the Retail Banking module of Portfolio Plus.
