Business Solutions Advisor

As a Business Solutions Advisor you will leverage your experience in banking and financial systems to work within SIT’s Business Solutions Division to help develop presentation materials, examples, and demonstration databases as well as providing presentations to potential customers regarding our banking software platform.

Responsibilities will include working with SIT and prospects to translate business requirements into presentations and then work with SIT to pass on and fulfill those requirements. The ideal candidate is considered an expert in day to day requirements of a Credit Union, Trust Company, or other financial institution.

He/She must be available for travel both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with Sales, both Domestic and International, in understanding the needs of a potential customer, and translating their requirements into data and examples for presentation.
• Ongoing maintenance of data within our in-house demonstration database.
• Communicate and work closely with other departments at SIT to bring a sale to fruition.
• Demonstrate initiative, team-building, and accountability to clients and other teams within SIT.
• Transfer system knowledge from SIT to customers in a formal or informal setting.
• Present and demonstrate proposed systems or enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years management experience in a Bank, Trust Company, Credit Union or financial institution with knowledge of software systems and required functionality and processes.
• Self-motivation relative to meeting timelines and aggressive deadlines.
• Strong system problem determination, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong presentation, listening, and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships with customers and other departments at SIT.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to travel on a frequent basis.
• General accounting experience would be considered an asset.
