Jr. Financial Application Developer(s)
The Jr. Financial Application Developer is an entry level position into
one of Canada's foremost banking software companies. The successful candidate will work with
SIT's team of Developers and Application Specialists to enhance, troubleshoot, and QA code
changes and fixes, and help implement quality assurance. Put your programming skills to work!
Requirements/Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting and banking including loans, term deposits, interest payments, account transfers, asset management, investment management, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation, listening and communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong team player
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Exposure to middleware (e.g. JMS) messaging and Enterprise Application Integration is a plus
- Knowledge of a 3GL or 4GL is a plus
